About the training

Defensive Driving is essentially driving in a manner that utilizes safe driving strategies to enable motorists to address identified hazards in a predictable manner. These strategies go well beyond instruction on basic traffic laws and procedures.

With defensive driving classes, delegates learn to improve their driving skills by reducing their driving risks, by anticipating situations and making safe well-informed decisions. Such decisions are implemented based on road and environmental conditions present when completing a safe driving maneuver.

The training was conducted in Douala and ran for two days. With a theoretical and practical phase.

At the end of the training, delegates expressed satisfaction with the level of knowledge and awareness created in their minds by the instructor.

"I am particularly happy to have come here again. I learned a lot when I took the training last two years with NOIAA. Mr. Elliot didn't stop to demonstrate his expertise. I only regret that this year we had no handouts. The ones handed to us last two years were very helpful. The training was a success" said Mr. Mokake Daniel.
