At NOIAA, we are proud to be an OPITO-approved training provider for the internationally recognized Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET). Our BOSIET course is designed to equip offshore personnel with the fundamental safety knowledge and emergency response skills required to work in the offshore oil and gas industry.
This offshore survival BOSIET course has been specifically designed to meet the Aviation Regulation requirements the UK / North Sea and Internationally.


Course Overview

  • Safety Induction:Introduction to offshore industry safety procedures.
  • Helicopter Safety and Escape:Emergency ditching procedures and underwater escape techniques.
  • Sea Survival:Life raft usage, survival at sea, and use of survival equipment
  • Firefighting and Self-Rescue: Fire prevention and suppression techniques.
  • First Aid: Basic first aid, CPR, and injury management.

Entry Requirements for the BOSIET Training

A valid and unrestricted medical fitness certificate to work at sea may be produced on the day of BOSIET training. Please contact us for more information.


Certification and Renewal

Upon completion, participants receive an OPITO-approved certificate valid for four years. Renewal requires completing the Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET).
