BOSIET with EBS (Digital Delivery) Course Overview

This online BOSIET theory training delivery version of the courses allows delegates to complete the mandatory underpinning knowledge of the BOSIET (with EBS) course via an on-line portal – which will last approx. 10 hours, during which you will have the opportunity to save your progress – before attending Clyde Training Solutions to compete all practical elements (1 day).

This training programme is designed to meet the initial offshore safety and emergency response training requirements for personnel new (or returning) to the offshore oil and gas industry, who will be supplied with a compressed air emergency breathing system (EBS).
NOTE – For those people who wish to undertake BOTH the theory and practical elements of the course at our centre (3 days in total), we offer non-digital BOSIET with EBS course.

Online Digital BOSIET Course Content:

The NOIAA approved BOSIET training course with EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System), provides delegates with a range of knowledge and skills relevant to traveling offshore by helicopter and working offshore. The course covers 4 main areas:

  • - Safety Induction Training
  • - Firefighting and Self Rescue Training
  • - Sea Survival with First Aid Training
  • - Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (EBS)

This online BOSIET course has been specifically designed to meet the Aviation Regulation requirements the UK/North Sea.

Entry Requirements:

Pre-Digital content

There are no formal pre-requisites required to enrol onto the digital content. All digital content must be completed within 90 days of purchase/registration.

Pre-Practical content

All digital content must be completed in its entirety prior to the commencement of the practical training.

All delegates are required to hold an offshore medical and an OGUK ‘Fit to Train’ / ‘Non Fit to Train’ certificate. Evidence of these documents will need to be produced on the day of training at the training center.

Alternatively, a valid and unrestricted medical fitness certificate to work at sea may be produced on the day of BOSIET training.

Certification on completion of BOSIET

Delegates are issued with a NOIAA approved BOSIET with EBS certificate upon successful completion of the course
